M. DeVoe

Hudson Valley artist specializing in large-scale & mixed-media realism.

My art is for those who long for an experience different from their everyday & want to become more connected with the natural world. They want to feel the magic of being face-to-face with a goat, get lost in ancient ruins, follow a path into the forest, see a loved one captured in a way both familiar and new.

About Marcia DeVoe

I left my native Montana to attend Pratt Institute on a drawing scholarship in the early ‘90s, after which I illustrated ancient artifacts at different excavations in the Mediterranean and for various scholarly publications.

In the past two decades, I have focused on private art and illustration commissions, as well as work for my own pleasure. I am proud that my art lives in the homes and offices of prominent writers, producers, artists, developers, academics, and philanthropists. I paint at my home studio on our family’s hobby farm in the Hudson Valley.
